Patient's Responsibilities

COMPLETE INFORMATION: To provide complete information about his/her health, including past conditions, illnesses, hospitalizations, medications, or any other matter pertaining to health.

COMPLETE DEMOGRAPHIC DETAILS: To provide complete and accurate information regarding identity, address, insurance coverage, or any other relevant details.

ABIDE BY HOSPITAL RULES: To abide by hospital rules and responsibilities — including no smoking policy, visitor policy, and not bringing outside food, flowers, or arms/weapons to the hospital.

MINIMUM LUGGAGE / FOLLOW INFECTION CONTROL: To keep minimum luggage in the ward for infection prevention and follow infection control guidelines as explained by the treating team.

RESPECT & COURTESY FOR OTHERS: To treat other patients, attendants, visitors, and hospital staff with respect and courtesy.

INFORM TREATING TEAM: Not to take any medication or alternative therapy without informing the treating team.

PAY FEE: To pay for the services availed as per hospital rules and regulations.

RESPECT FOR OTHERS WHO ARE SICK: To understand and respect the urgency of other patients’ conditions, and allow doctors to prioritize accordingly.

FOLLOW PRESCRIBED TREATMENT PLAN: To follow the treatment plan as prescribed and adhere to the instructions given by the medical team.

ACCEPT MEASURES FOR PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY OF RECORDS: To accept and support the hospital’s measures to ensure privacy and confidentiality of medical records.
